The last decade has seen the young mutant called Magik become a major player in the X-Men comics. Interestingly, though, alternate-universe versions of Magik - such as one seen in Jonathan Hickman's Secret Wars event back in - have tended to be gay. I'll be honest and say I don't know that character that well though so I could be way off.
They're essentially stuck in a cosmic version of Game of Thronestasked with protecting a member of the House Neramani - Deathbird - as she returns to the Shi'ar Imperium. She may just be joking around, having fun at the aliens' expense, but something about this confrontation made her think of making out.

It's gay absolutely hilarious scene, and it's perfectly in-character too; long-time readers will remember Brian Bendis' Uncanny X-Men run, where Magik proposed taking advantage of the Avengers being stuck in a time field.
